Tunisian Purl Stitch

This one can be tricky and definitely takes some practice, but you can do it! To work Tunisian Purl Stitch, start with a foundation row.

Now, bring the yarn to the FRONT of the work, skip first st (as usual) and insert your hook from right to left under next vertical bar. Pull up a loop. Continue in this fashion all the way across the row. Close normally (ch1, then YO and pull through two loops until you get back to the beginning of the row). As you get better, you’ll be able to pull the yarn to the front with your hook instead of having to hold it with your fingers, but I show you how to do it while holding the yarn because it’s easier to see what’s going on and make sure your yarn is in the correct place.
